Wind energy is one of the most important renewable energies since it reduces environmental pollution. Darrieus VAWTs with straight-bladed are more prevalent in small-scale power generation due to their simple blade design and easy construction. The investigation performance a topic that fascinating for Researchers look into. have paid special attention Double Multiple Stream Tube (DMST) model VAWT simulation because good correlation between DMST experimental results. In this paper analysis using Matlab programing predict aerodynamic H-type fixed pitch VAWT, More specifically, coefficient (Cp) tip speed ratio (TSR). fact an rotor has poor self-starting despite having which constant worry at low wind speeds. Selection airfoil essential factors take into account while trying enhancement VAWT. study first, results from experiments were used validation model, then, 4 different families symmetrical airfoils compared. indicate S-1046 showed exceptional high starting torque 4m/s.
